Neurotoxin injectables, also known as botulinum toxin neuromodulators, are a non-surgical cosmetic procedure performed in our health spa. They temporarily block certain nerve signals that make muscles contract. As we mature, facial muscles increase in tone and can cause fine lines and wrinkles. When we relax the overly tense muscles, these lines disappear, resulting in a more relaxed, refreshed appearance.
The injection of neuromodulators are the most popular cosmetic procedure performed in the United States.
Botox® is an injectable which helps to relax the muscles in your forehead by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and creating a more youthful, and radiant appearance. Botox is an FDA approved treatment to temporarily reduce the appearance of severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines in adults. Results may last 3 to 4 months.
Xeomin® is a FDA approved, highly purified neurotoxin used to target frown lines between the brows, soften forehead wrinkles and smooth out the crows feet around your eyes. Xeomin® contains only a single ingredient (botulinum toxin A). The benefit of Xeomin’s pure-form means that clients have a lower chance of developing resistance (antibodies) that can limit its desired effects. Results may last 3 to 4 months.
Jeuveau®, a botulinum toxin type A, is the “New Tox” that is injected into muscles and used in adults for a short period of time (temporary) to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines). Jeuveau is different because it is the first aesthetic-only FDA approved neurotoxin in the U.S. Results of a smoother and refreshed complexion will become apparent within a few days of injection; however, the Jeuveau will continue to work for up to two weeks, revealing continued improvements. Results may last from 3 to 4 months.
