What is a VI Peel®?

A VI Peel® is a next-generation, medical grade chemical peel that requires no downtime and is completely pain-free. By removing damaged skin, a VI Peel® will leave you with smoother, replenished skin with no interruption to your daily routine. The active ingredients in a VI Peel® do this with the following agents:

The Remedi Difference

Remedi specializes in micro-treatments like the VI Peel®. The procedure can typically be completed in roughly 30 minutes. At Remedi, we guarantee you a safe, non-judgmental environment for your treatment. Our medical professionals will work with you to help you achieve the most beautiful, natural results.

Treatment Cost

VI Peels start at $325 and can be performed with additional boosts. Discounts will be given for purchasing packages of 3 or more. Ask your Remedi medical professional for more information.

The VI Peel® is ideal for patients looking to renew their skin’s texture and tone with little to no recovery time. As with any peel, there is no one-size-fits-all. Each treatment is customized based on skin type and your desired results. VI Peels® can rejuvenate and renew your skin, targeting a number of skin conditions and goals:

  • Refines and improves fine lines
  • Helps to lift melasma and hyperpigmentation
  • Improves skin dullness
  • Stimulates collagen
  • Tones and evens out rough skin
  • Improves acne and scars

Unlike other chemical peels, the VI treatments are virtually painless, require no skin preconditioning and, have minimal downtime and include a comprehensive patient take care kit. VI Peels® are suitable for a variety of skin types and concerns. The VI Peel® also comes with a take home kit that includes Post Peel Towelettes, Post Peel Protectant, and VI Derm SPF 50+ to help you with healing during the exfoliation process.  You will see noticeable changes within just one week of your first visit, and results are even greater with each additional treatment.

You can continue to use your regular skincare program unless you are on products with high levels of Retinols, AHA’s, Vitamin A and Hydroquinone. We ask you to stop usage 1 week before your peel. We suggest that you avoid any laser hair removal, waxing, electrolysis or depilatory creams a week before the peel.

The VI peel appointment is 30 minutes. The whole peel process takes approximately 7 days. The first 2 days your skin will feel tight and will have a “tan” or bronzed look or could be pink, blotchy and shiny. On days 3-5 your skin should start the peeling process where you will see sloughing typically around the mouth area, forehead and neck. On days 6-7 the peeling will start to subside and new skin will be seen. One week after peeling is complete you can resume your daily skincare regime. Keep in mind that it will take about 4 to 6 weeks to start seeing noticeable results.
